Stumbled on this gem while saying at the Omni around the corner. That you can get a whole meal for 3 for the price of a steak at the Omni says its great value. The service was excellent from the whole family - mom, dad, nana and pop all in the kitchen together! Red curry beef was the standout, chicken... More

Group of 3 on a Wed. night. This is a newer restaurant in the financial district so lunch is their busy time. At night they are usually much slower. This night only 2 other tables were occupied so service was prompt. The waiter was friendly & attentive throughout the evening. As for the food; the Fish Cakes(tod mun) were flavorful... More

I visited this restaurant in the middle of the afternoon looking for something to tantalize my taste buds. Entering the restaurant it became clear that I was the only diner other than a member of staff on a break. The restaurant has a somewhat dirty feel about it and an odour to match. Some might call that authentic or rustic,... More

I've tried eating here twice and both times, I did not like the food. I ordered green curry the first time and #17 (red-based curry) the second time, and I definitely have had better! The thai ice tea was good though.

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
