The food is excellent but overall service was disappointing. We made reservation for 4 and not only did we wait for 20 minutes to be seated but there were several 2 person tables next to each other that were ready. Manager told me he was holding them for pairs who might walk in. Also the front door is open a... More

It has been long since I had such great Indian food. Almost perfect. The chicken, the spices, the naan, it was all very, very good. Service is also great and quick.

High energy, clean and open atmosphere with some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Friendly and efficient service made dinner here a real pleasure. Five if us shared chicken tandoori, chicken tiki masala, tandoori chicken, lamp, fish and shrimp ( combination tandoori) and chicken vindaloo with naan and rice. We did not leave anything on the plates. This... More

The food here is done well. The service is excellent. Indoor seating feels like you're in the great room of a home with a fireplace. A great place for couples or groups, casual or business dining. Eating outside can be fun, too, as shoppers walk by. I'd recommend the bread basket, seekh kabobs, any version of vindaloo and biryani with... More

Food is really good but the service can be very slow on busy nights. Sometimes they do not even care if you have made a reservation via apps like yelp or opentable so better call

We were visiting SFO and looking for a place for Christmas dinner. We were in for a treat, the service and the food was superb. We sampled the chicken tikkas, fish pakoras, spicy korma and rounded off with pistachio saffron kulfis. Some of the best Indian food we have had in ages. Highly recommended.

...Indian food I'd ever had...we asked the waiter to recommend the choices we made and I ended up with two dishes, butter chicken and a vindaloo, which complemented each other perfectly, odd as that might sound...really enjoyed my experience and would definitely visit again...

Aslam's is my son's favorite Indian restaurant in San Francisco. Located a few blocks from where my son lives, Aslam's is in the heart of the Mission District. I've eaten there many times, and often make two visits there when I'm in San Francisco. There is a large vegetarian selection to choose from, and we have yet to find an entree... More
