Great fresh food. But be prepared to eat. They give you a lot. Especially if you order a salad. Basically you make your own sandwich or salad.

Stopped in here for a meal and a place to get out of the rain on a stormy night. I decided on a salad - Greens and a meat plus 8 other ingredients. So many that it was hard to make a choice - even some unusual for a salad bar. My wife had a sandwich - Chicken in flight... More

This was more fun in the old days, but it will do in a pinch when you are hungry and the money is a little short.

Our first meal in San Francisco and within walking distance of our studio. This place is awesome for some clean eating or piling on the meat..whatever you are hungry for! My 7 item main salad included edemame, cucumbers, tomato, red bell pepper, blue cheese, avocado and bean sprouts. My husband had a roast beef sandwich au jus. Very fresh..great find!

For set price we have choice of hot meats and 7 salads. Extra cost after that. But the small plate is huge so don't need more. So far I've had amazing steak one day and roast turkey the next. Both were delicious. Great variety of salads and very friendly cashier. Love it

Interesting food combinations to choose from. Hot dishes and salad bar.The ordering system was a bit strange but one of the guys behind the counter guided us through. The food came quickly and tasted good. Place was busy with locals.

This place is great since I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend is a meat eater. First, I didn't understand how to order, but I watched the person in front of me order and caught on. There are a TON of choices and the portions are very large. It was perfect because we were super hungry. There are a lot of... More

You choose exactly what will be on your plate, not the menu. Imagine a small upscale cafeteria but without the cafeteria. If you have a hard time making decisions this is a place to avoid... but I wouldn't. Lots of choices and all of it is tasty. You could go comfort food, you could go vegetarian...

Amazing salads and sandwiches which were healthy and plentiful! I created an incredible salad and my friend got the turkey in flight. They were delicious and a lot to eat. The place had a cool casual feel to it. I plan on going back again to this place and recommend it for healthy and inexpensive eating.

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
