The cafe has its charm, but the food is really average. We ordered a turkey sandwich, hash brown with spicy cauliflower... the sandwich was bland and tasteless. Hash brown was ok. The café au lait is a total, failure, no coffee taste, just milk and coffee...More

Hi Cymtl, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. This is definitely not what we want our customers to experience. Thank you for your feedback. Can you tell me the day/time you were in? I'd like to follow up with my team. Best, Laurie

We stay near Rose's when we visit San Francisco twice a year. We haven't enjoyed the loud, trendy, over-priced restaurant scene on Chestnut Street but we have grown attached to this Cow Hollow neighborhood gem. The interior is attractive but not up to the minute....More

Rose's Cafe is the perfect place to kill an afternoon. Great atmosphere, lovely tea and a superb menu. Possibly the best turkey sandwich I've ever had. Definitely worth going out of your way for.

Description
A favorite in the Cow Hollow neighborhood, Rose's Café is a hangout for locals who bask in the sun at sidewalk tables, duck inside for a cappuccino, or stay for a leisurely lunch or dinner. Many customers are regulars who frequent our pretty bistro-café that offers table service and deliciously consistent food - Italian fare created using organic local produce, fresh seafood, humanely raised meats, and free-range poultry. Rose's artisan bakers bake a daily selection of pastries, desserts and breads. Menu highlights include: pizzas, daily soups, and house made pastas.
