Highly touted but I wasn't impressed. Perhaps it is better during the warmer weather when the seating at the rear isn't undercover or portable heaters. The food was hit or miss - the corn soup was very bland but the rest of the meal was...More

Visited this restaurant in the Cow Hollow area of SanFrancisco. It is best to have reservations. There are 2 choices for dinner, a la carte small plates or a set price 3 course dinner. We chose the 3 course which was excellent. I had asparagus...More

Nice little place with great service and good food. We enjoyed the food, calamari was good. The Seabass was good as was the duck breast. Nice ambiance and friendly service.

Handily located for the hotels along Lombard street, this is a little local jewel of a place. There is a lively, buzzy atmosphere to place with plenty of bustle. The service is good. I had a calamari starter infused with flavoursome Mediterranean herbs. The mains...More

Our waiter did a great job suggesting how we order. Many of the plates were for sharing, so we followed his plan. We order 14 delicious and well presented combinations of appetizers and main courses for seven people. These varied offerings were the right amount...More

Had it not been for the delay in us getting our food, i would have given this place 5 stars. We walked in and were seated right away. Our waiter was courteous and friendly. We got an arugula salad with cheese and mandarins to start...More

The strength of Isa is its excellent kitchen and reasonable prices...a bottle of good red house wine $34. Fresh Point Reyes oysters @$2 were superb as were the seared scallops and “ris de veau”. Servers are very personable but too few staff to handle the...More

Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
