Had the melted Brie, turkey, prosciutto on baguette and lentil soup. All very fresh ingredients. Excellent baguette. Wonderful soup. Service was pleasant and quick. Ambiance is comfortable and inviting. I'll be back to try the Czech specialties. If you enjoy Prague as much as I, you should enjoy this place. The staff is Czech. Bon chuti k jídlu. Děkuji

Massive portions of delicious pork went well with inexpensive wine at this off-beat establishment - cash only (beware!). This place reminds me of San Francisco in the 60's and 70's, and it's kinda lovable for that. Comfort food to share with a bunch of your fellow poets.

Nice location near my hotel and great service. Good happy hour deals. Its the type of place where when you're staying and socializing, they bring out a snack for free. Family atmosphere. Recommend!

My family discovered this Financial District gem today and enjoyed some delicious appetizers while dining al fresco. The caprese salad was garnished with a delicious pesto sauce. The bratwurst was so fresh and tangy with a choice of mustard and/or horseradish sauce. Our kids enjoyed some freshly-made Italian meatballs covered in a bright tomato sauce with fresh parmesan shavings. I... More

Went with a large group of colleagues for work event. Giant and normal sized beers, mostly Czech. Good appetizers and nibbles to go with. Nice time!

I love Cafe Prague. It's young and fun and lively and the food is great. And convenient to Club Quarters Hotel. Cash only.

I have visited this place several times for dinner and drinks and can only say good things. I love everything on the menu, but especially all the appetizers. Tall Czech beer is a plus too! I am originally from Prague and this place feels like home. Little pricey, but its an international cuisine! The staff is very friendly and sweet.

Clear disappointment and insult to the Czech cuisine. Ordered "gulach" but got watery stew over cooked knedel My wife take duck that comes with no meat but only bones and skin. The only positive was that the place was charming and have a young very god waitress from Italy.

Found this little place by an accident whilst exploring SF. The food was very good! I would absolutely recommend it to my friends, especially as their beer is very good, and very cheap! They served a proper Czech pint!

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
