We got a coupon for Mel's while staying at the Cow Hollow Inn in the same building. It looked a little fancy for us, but we ended up enjoying it enough to go back a second time in our three-day visit. We loved the little...More

Greeter creates unsettling atmospheres. Not welcoming nor friendly. One customer left after being rebuked. Food came out at different times about 10 minutes apart. I have now been waiting 15 minutes to receive bill so we can leave. Food was ok. But I’m leaving feeling...More

It's a great place to start a day in the city (we're from Santa Rosa). A parking garage with reasonable fee?!! Very good food and service. C B Hash made there and excellent. Wife very happy with her omelet. We will return.

We stopped here in a Monday morning for breakfast and the vibe is very subdued and laid back. The restaurant is quiet and the staff was very attentive. We had several things from the menu (breakfast) and they were all very tasty. There was no...More

We were prepared to dislike Home Plate because we thought so highly of its predecessor in this location, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The surroundings and decor are appealing, the service is very courteous and efficient (without being "pushy") and the food is excellent...More

Service was friendly but a bit disorganized. Iced tea was excellent. My companion's omelet was good; I ended up eating half of it because it took so long for my pancakes to arrive, and they weren't worth the wait. The next day, we went to...More

Found this place on yelp...liked the different brunch options and that’s it’s locally own so drove 20 min to try it. Well worth it. Food was amazing!! The staff attentive and bottomless mimosa...well you can’t beat that and they weren’t “juiced” down. Would visit again.

After searching for the "best breakfast near me" Home Plate was the top result. After reading reviews, I decided to give it a try. I entered the restaurant, was greeted promptly and offered a seat at the bar. A scone and marmalade were served with...More

We were so lucky this place happened to be open during Christmas day! We waited in line but it was worth the wait. Service and food was excellent! Of the things we ordered, only the burger seemed "normal", everything else was exceptional so lesson learned...More

Ordered the omelette with bacon and a fresh juice and would definitely be the best breakfast I have had on my trip around America, it is quite a small space but they are moving to a larger restaurant this year.

Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.

We were there about 9am and there were empty tables. I doubt you will need reservations and I don't know if they take them... Any concern just call them when you get into town and avoid any worries.
