The B. lives up to the hype. The lines can be long, but the wait is worth it. The pastries are simply amazing.

This place has the best Kouign Amman, hands down!! The crunch is perfection, with enough fluff in the center and a bit of gooey sugar in the center. I haven't been a fan of Kouign Amman in general because most of the time it's overwhelmingly sweet but this one is just perfect and not too sweet/sugary eventhough my description may... More

What a wonderful take on pumpkin pie and cheesecake! A delightful end to our Thanksgiving feast. And your bread was fantastic, too.

If you are in San Francisco, make sure you visit B Patisserie! The coffee was great too. I love how they make everything from scratch.

We past by this bakery on Saturday afternoon and saw the lineups. Since it is right around the corner from where we're staying, I made a mental note to return for breakfast. I lined up with about 50 people on Sunday morning, and was impressed with selection and service. From the scones to the croissants, everything is freshly-made that day... More

There is a queue and it was not surprising because the pastries were excellent. We had the kouign amman, ham and cheese croissant, and a quiche - all perfectly made, buttery and light. We bought sme kouign amman (regular, chocolate, seasonal pumpkin) and these turned out still great the next day. Worth recommending for the pastries but not for their... More

Granted we got some extras to take home. The pastries were about $5 a piece, and super delicious. Hot chocolate was good, more on the bitter side than the sweet. My recommendations: the apple almond or banana chocolate croissant. The cookies...anything. The pastries are all flaky, fresh and work the short wait.

God, part of me wishes I had never set foot in b. Patisserie. Now all other bakeries I have experienced drop in comparison. My favorite San Diego bakeries are now rendered as only very good but not in the league of b. Patisserie. And the same with bakeries I visited in France and Italy - very good but not as... More

There are so many good pastry shops in San Francisco that it's almost impossible to choose the best ones, but this one really stands out for the wide choice of succulent cakes and freshness of viennoiseries offered. The place is a bit out of the center, but worth the time to get there (and it has less queues than others).

On the same Sunday morning we visited Arsicault bakery, we visited B. There was a quene up but not as bad as Arsicault ! The croissant they served not as good as the other one especially the ham n cheese. However, the Kouign Amann was better ! The sandwich and salad were good too ! It opens all day long... More
