This is a great place to go to if you are looking for the lower end of the price spectrum and still want good food. I was definitely suprised by how good the food was for the price. It is right down the street from at&t park so if you are ever looking for some good food before or after... More

Great value for money and good food and service. The resturant helps people who have lost their way, directly helping the community through providing employment and accomodation. Definitely worth a visit

I have been here a couple of times. I do love the atmosphere and the cause. This is a unique restaurant and I enjoy going there. I feel I am supporting something. I love speaking to the servers about some of there experiences. I love the prices for the city you can't beat it. The appetizers were good and the... More

On our way to the Giants game we decided to stop into this little gem of a place. First of all the service was awesome, they seated us right away and were very attentive. Filling up our water glasses quite regularly due to the heat wave in May of all things! I had the Grilled Chicken Breast sandwich with greens... More

We just happened upon this place as we were walking back from AT&T Park to our hotel. When we looked at the prices on the menu, we thought it was too good to be true. Little did we know we had discovered an amazing gem of a place that provides opportunities for people who have hit bottom to better themselves... More

I visited SF last week and a friend and I went to the Delancey Street Restaurant. She ordered the curry chicken with veggies and I had the Chicken Medallions in a lemon-garlic cream sauce with capers. Mine was to die for. The sauce was a little heavy (thick) but this just made the sauce stick to the pasta better. There... More

Delancey Street Restaurant is the most reasonably priced, white tablecloth restaurant I have found in San Francisco. All the employees at Delancey Street are "getting a second chance" at a productive life. If the menu did not have the backstory, you would never know it. Service is always excellent, the food is always yummy. On our latest visit our party... More

This place is wonderful. The food was great, the view is spectacular, and the prices can not be beat anywhere in the city. this place is right under the bay bridge and if you sit outside at night you can watch the lights dance across the bay. I We ate here during out last trip to the San Francisco and thought... More

Delancey Street is great for lunch or dinner. Valet parking makes it easy and you can even sometimes find a place on the street! They can accommodate a crowd - we had a business dinner at a great round table (also a backroom for private parties) - or you can drop in and they will find room for you. Sitting... More

Delancey Street Restaurant has to be one of the most reasonably priced restaurants in San Francisco. It has a large menu with many choices, and many yummy sounding deserts if you have room for them. I got lamb shanks. It had some weird seasoning in it, like cinnamon maybe, that wasn't good. I wouldn't order it again, but I would... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
