Don't know about the food, because we didn't stay long enough to have any. On arrival got completely ignored by the server. She was clearly busy so we waited until she glanced at us, when she then mimed something I didn't understand, nodded towards an empty table, and went back to what she was doing. We went to the only... More

I have been going here for years and I recommend breakfast, unreservedly. I always have the Northwestern Scramble, scrambled egg, Philadelphia cheese, smoked salmon and fried onions. The service is quick and the food is always piping hot and really tasty. If you are based near Pinecrest and it's really busy, head here. You alwayys get a warm welcome and... More

Service was fine. Place doesn't appear to be the cleanest. Food was average. Ate her Saturday morning about 10am and it was a ghost town. Sunday ate at Lori's Diner and Monday Pinecrest and found both much better in taste, presentation and overall appearance. Olympic is also Cash Only. Wonder if they will remain open very much longer?

The Olympic Flame was exactly what I expected when I enjoyed breakfast there in November 2016. An old style establishment hardly affected by the passage of time. That was part of its attraction and charm. The staff appeared a mixture of older people from various backgrounds. Again adding to the charm. The Olympic food, again, is what you would expect.... The place is not much to look at on the outside nor the inside. Breakfast came quickly as we were the only guest. The French toast was very good and not an overly expensive place. They serve the basic breakfast items.

This cafe is a blast from the past. It appears to be the original everything! The woman who took our order was pretty curt. We had to flag her down for refills on our beverages, sweetener for the tea, etc. The food was good, except the orange juice - it tasted like Tang. We'll try somewhere else tomorrow.

Impromptu breakfast stop. Got the all meat omelette to go. Great service and food. Would go again with family.

Wide range of breakfast options, from basics to big omelettes and a whopper of a breakfast burrito. Enjoyed it so much, we went back the next day! Go hungry.

This is an old-school place. Cheap, falling apart tables, old man in the kitchen and the old lady running the tables. Was served by a guy who would have otherwise rather be someplace else (in fact, he told us so). Another couple near us left as they took forever with the order. So, why the good rating? The food was... More
