I happened to visit the place without reservation and was pleased to be treated with great hospitality. Words cannot give justice to this superb restaurant. I went solo for the reason of enjoying every details of this experience. I chose the six course meal and...More

This was bright interesting food, even if the décor is modern and dark. The innovative menu that was delivered by Michael Mina and his team was enjoyable. The portions were just underdelivered. It was extremely delicious and fun. There wasn't that full climatic scale that...More

Oysters, salmon and beef cooked perfectly with heavenly sides and sauces. Ingredients such as gooseberries, passion fruit, elderflower and many more add an exquisite touch. My favorite courses were the ahi tartar and the coconut mouse.

Prefix six course menu is all that’s offered. So your choices within those is all you have. The meal wasn’t bad but for almost $500, including tip, I want my socks knocked off. My socks are still on. There were some extra goodies from the...More

I opted for the tasting menu which gave a little of everything - 6 courses. My husband cousin went for the al la carte menu which had the same variety as the tasting menu but of course slightly larger portions. My cousin had the Wagyu...More

This restaurant serves highly imaginative and very tasty food. The menu is fabulous! Go for a real treat and an evening of true entertainment. The wine selection is impressive and extensive and is accompanied by a rather irritating and pompous sommelier! However, that notwithstanding, you...More

We went on a Friday night; the restaurant was almost half full. We ordered the tasting menu and matched wines. The service was excellent (although it seemed a bit odd that each serving was brought by a different server and therefore we had no "relationship"...More

First rate food, wonderful presentation, quiet, sophisticated space, friendly and helpful without being intrusive service. High end price-wise, but worth it.

A six courses dinner which allow you to choose among two to three options. Every dish has a slight influence from the middle East dishes, heavily spiced. The taste was not exceptional but interesting. However, some dishes are spicy but no warning beforehand and thus...More

The prix fixe Egyptian-inspired menu was fanstastic - while my favorite dish was the dessert (“Chocolate Milk”), all of the other dishes had delicious elements - the squab dish’s spicing was savory and succulent, the lamb dish as well. The handmade pasta with caviar was...More

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s
version of Wall Street. The rush of business people
make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,

I don't think so, but you can choose between a prefixed menu, or 5 course menu or the tasting menu. Besides this, if you decide to do the 5 or tasting menu they will ask you if you have allergies or some particular foods you... More
