Heavy street marketing; people in costume handing out menus/coupons. Abrupt, hurried service. Way sub-par food; place full of unaware tourists. Prices are way, WAY overpriced for the neighborhood that id FULL of wonderful, low-priced cuisine.

We "fell" for the free marketing coupon on the street but enjoyed the experience. We had the lemon grass chicken and it was quite flavorful. Might have to go back for the prawns!

We visited for lunch and had a pleasant meal. It was quiet on a midweek day. We were accompanied by our 7 month old. The staff made a fuss of him and held/entertained him whilst we ate. The food was tasty and there was a good variety of options. Nothing to set the world on fire but certainly not bad.

Had dinner here tonight.my first impression was that this was a touristy restaurant, and you know what they say about first impressions!lol.having said that,we had the set dinner for 2,and it was ok-just ok.the price was ok-$55 dollars for 2 including 3 sodas, and they then added on 20% tip to bill, which was included in total, which to my mind is cheeky. So $67... We wanted some authentic Chineese food, and we got it. A nice young lady was standing on corner giving out coupons, or we might never have found it ( It was upstairs). The service was great the food was great, a little pricy for lunch, but we were happy with the portions & quality of food.

We wanted to experience an authentic and historic Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. We certainly picked right. We made a reservation on Open Table. Chinatown Restaurant was opened in 1919. The only part of the restaurant that was open for lunch was on the second floor – so bear in mind that you have to climb steps. We were thoroughly taken... More

This is a Chinese tourist trap if you don't ask for the real Chinese menu. It's Chinese food heaven.

We came here for a set menu which was really good for $20.95 each, which was all really good and came out quickly. It would have been 5/5 for the food, but giving themselves a 20% tip for their service instead of letting us choose the tip was a bit much. The service wasn't that great (the waitress threw the... We had lunch late in the day. Free Potstickers with an amazing dipping sauce. Good food, but a little high priced.

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I figured in China town you can't miss with choosing a good restaurant but I did. I order chicken egg Foy young and what came out of the kitchen was scary and that was after waiting 30 mins for it to come out.
