We always stop in when we are in town for some appetizers and a noodle dish to take back to the room.

Stumbled upon this place and we're so impressed with the flavours, options, service. It's nothing fancy to look at but the the food is amazing and generous and reasonable. Loved that it was a family business with free tea on offer. We will be back. Just wondering if they are open Labour Day this Monday?

Thirty years ago we ate our first Vietnamese meal here at Sai's. The delicate scent of the five spice chicken in a clay pot drew us in! Sai's is s in business today, serving up much deliciousness. The management kindly informed us of the gluten free options and were willing to adapt several menu items for us! Thank you!

I got hooked the first time I visited this place. The food is just awesome and the service great. One can come here everyday and never run out of food options as the food offerings are quite extensive. The only hiccup is that my friends and I come here during off hours as the place gets packed during normal lunch... More

Fairly authentic food with a wide variety of selected dishes, but it can be fairly loud and the tables can be crammed very close to each other so you may be eating right next to strangers.

I been going to this place for few years now and never disappointed besides sometimes taking longer but it is expected specially during busy lunch hour. Great place for lunch and prices are reasonable for San Francisco financial district but make sure to go there before 12 noon during the week or after 1PM between 12-1PM this place is busy... More

Love the food here. They have some best curry chicken soup and it is very delicious and the quantity is a lot. The line gets crazy during lunch so better to get there early. The price is also reasonable.

What a gem. This little hole in the wall is so worth the trip and the wait for a table. The tea served is excellent and the service is prompt and the food is a treat for the taste buds.

Close to our hotel (Club Quarters) and we had not eaten all day due to traveling on plane from Oklahoma. Got there around 4:30 PM so not very busy. Our waitress was a wonderful person and won my wife over with the complementary hot tea and kept it coming during entire meal. Wife had mixed curry vegetables with rice and... More

In our way to a client meeting, we stumbled upon this place. It looked very authentic, and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent.

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
