Sashimi & sushi were fresh & tasty...however restaurant atmosphere was cold. Although they list beer & wine on their menu, these are not available as they have no liquor license at present.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Sushi was awesome! This place offers a wide range of sushi and other dishes. They were out of white rice when we ordered, and very apologetic. Definitely a good place for late night sushi.

Was In San Francisco for 1 night and two days. Looked for sushi, tried this out. The service was fast staff friendly and of course the sushi was great. The cool thing was that they had Korean food on offer so you could get a Bento box and sushi at the same place. You can tell a good sushi place... More

A nice location off the beaten path. The food is good, but nothing special. The rolls are creative and good. They have a few good combination dinners.

We read the reviews on Trip Advisor and chose this restaurant based on them. The server worked very hard and was pleasant but the food did not seem fresh, the taste was not great and even the green tea was lukewarm. I would not return.

I love sushi to begin with and was excited to be able to taste sushi so close to the bay. I was not disappointed! Tried a lot of different rolls that were specific to the restaurant and the city. The sushi was amazing!! Would definitely go there again.

We were a group of six hungry people so we had a pleasure to order a lot of sushi - 18 rolls altogether. Ingredients were good and fresh. The rice however was not tasty, but still ok. The rolls were nice done and a treat for the eye and mouth. The prices were also reasonable for the quality. A good... More

Staying in North Beach / Telegraph Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian ristorante come together to create the charming neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in the city exude as much European charm and style. Peruse a bookstore for the literature of Kerouac, Ferlinghetti and Ginsberg, grab some gelato and head to Washington Square for a perfect afternoon of people watching. Just east of North Beach, the hills and staircases of Telegraph Hill are a unique delight. At its peak, the art deco Coit Tower provides sweeping panoramic views of the bay and city. The beautifully landscaped Filbert Street Steps, a street too steep for a roadway, rewards those willing to hike uphill. Keep your ears open and you might even hear the squawk of the wild parrots who call this neighbourhood home.
