Like this little bar so much we go there whenever we are in SF Dark and cozy Only about 15 tables It's the drinks that make the place. Creative, unique, delicious Many made with Rye whiskey. But rum an tequila drinks as well

A bit of a subdued bar. Not the best place if you want music or planning a night out. Can defiantly chat in the ambience. Drinks are expensive

I loved the string lights and exposed brick wall more than anything! Seating was cozy. The bar was nice, and they had a full bar with a great selection of whatever you were in the mood for. Can't say I was blown away by the bar staff in any way, but then again having worked in the service industry for... More

This place has a huge whiskey selection as well as a full bar. Okay beer selection. Bar is small and it was full so we sat in the lower dining area - completely by ourselves....Bar tenders seemed more interested in chatting with people at the bar than helping us as we stood there, trying to pay and leave. Not a... More

Came here after some wine at the spot next door. The bartenders were all very friendly and had a great conversation with some of the locals at the bar while waiting for my specialty Manhattan. An outstanding drink and very comfortable environment. Had I not already had too many, I would have stayed for two or three more!

The website said it opened at 5:30pm. We arrived at 5:35pm and were told they were not quite opened. The service were just making drinks for themselves and their friends. After waiting 10 minutes we politely left and walked towards our restaurant destination for dinner. I would not recommend this place at all.

Went her on my one and only night out in San Fran, am from NZ so relaxed and just looking for a cold beer and a chat with real Americans. The barman was very friendly but busy the customers all seemed to be too concerned with their looks and reminded me of the poser culture in UK in the eighties,... More

We stopped here after a show for a drink, but had such a great time we ended up staying for a second round. The bartender was witty and fun to banter with, and was patient enough to give suggestions. There were a number of different types of cocktails on the menu, but not so any that it was overwhelming. The... More

My boyfriend and I were supposed to have met a friend here for drinks before an event we had to go to. Despite being stood up, we had great cocktails in a hip space. My boyfriend bantered with the friendly and wry bartender, while perusing the descriptive cocktail menu. Great chalk art above the communal tables in the back. Would... More

I make it a point to go here every time I'm in town. Ask for the Basil Gin Gimlet. Simple, amazing flavor profile.
