This small, cozy, Indonesian restaurant is very convenient to UCSF hospital, medical center, and medical school. It's located in a basement, so the windows are up toward the top of the walls, but it's still bright and sunny. The food is simple, tasty, satisfying. I had the Chicken Satay meal (with rice, fresh cut-up fruit, fresh salad with yummy dressing... More

Sometimes this place is really great but other times not so much so since the menu tends to change at times.

Friendly service and good food flavor. Curry had just the right flavor and overall taste very good. Not a fancy place. It's a kind of basement, very casual. Good portions and the prices are reasonable.

This is a Mom & Pop type restaurant, we tried the roti (flat bread) appetizer, it was very good. But we thought the curry dipping sauce was a little bit to watery and while it is curry flavored it did not add to the bread. We also tried the Indonesian fried rice which was good, the laksa soup and the... More

Loved the martabak and curries. Very casual and pretty quick service. Not a fancy place, reasonable prices (by SF standards). Authentic.

I had dinner here with my family and another family. We had Roti Pratha, Beef Rendang, Garlic Noodle chicken, mussels, steamed fish, Char Kway Teow and Sambal Mix Okra/Green. Everything was very good. The owner came by to make sure we had a good meal. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed some Asian pancakes and noodles here recently. Sauce is delicious and the menu is pretty long.

Check out 292nd location: Clement Street 1/2 block from Walgreens. For those crave for Singaporean food style but also good mussel dish and good Beef stew soup (Surabaya /city of East Java,Indonesia) and either shrimp or okra spicy dish with shrimp paste/balachan.

Very authentic S.E. Asian food. I've lived there and can attest to it. The owner is a detail stickler and everything came out right.

This is almost one of the hole in the wall finds. The food has flavor and the portions are perfect to generous. The menu is simple which does not take away from the quality of the taste. We ordered 5 different dishes and every one was delicious. The two specials were worth it. I hear the crap is a delight.... More
