Had dinner with business colleague. Vegetarian and gluten free needs and Osha satisfied both admirably. Excellent pumpkin curry. Who would have thought? Pad Thai was great as well. Friendly service and elegant decor.

Stopped in for lunch the decor is very cool. Had the lunch special which is is great value and delicious! The Tom Yum soup was chock a block full of mushrooms, veggies, tofu and tasty. The lunch special also came with choice of rice, brown, sticky and coconut which all were excellent. They also offer a decent happy hour at 2 PM.

While we were looking for a place for tea, we wandered down a short mall to an open area called Justin Herman Plaza, which is beside the docks. The plaza is also home to Jean Dubuffet’s, La Chiffonniere, a stainless steel structure with black epoxy; it is mildly reminiscent of a cartoon-like ragged female figure. The restaurant is on the... Depending on which location you go to, it can get very crowded and loud. But the food is served very quickly and tastes great. Go early or late to miss the crowds. The curries are very good and there are a lot of really good appetizers.

Disappointing experience - felt overpriced for what the restaurant offered. The cocktails were poor, the food was average - I didn't even eat the starter of samosa's. Service average. Would not recommend.

Good food and good service. Very local style cooking and Thai comfort foods. Easy staff dialogue about what each dish is and accurate level of "spicy" scale. Handled a table of 4 with no stress and filled the table with fresh, tasty food. Great break from "fast food" habits of our group.

I regret eating at this place. I went There for lunch with my husband on July 4. When we first arrived they mentioned they had had 20 min to the time of closing. The palace was half empty and there were several seats avilable. The waitress seated us in a very crowded place between too many people. There was a... More

I've been to this place several times. While it doesn't "stand out" - it serves consistently good Thai food for years and is a solid choice in the area.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
