it's a good place to see the amazing views in SF , it's a good place to drink a glass of wine or a cocktail. if you are hungry is not the best option. the price are high and the food is just ok. if you are in SF you must go

Top of the Mark has an excellent view of the city. I really enjoyed watching the sunset while sipping on my cocktail. The food was good too. We ordered the Foie Gras and it was delicious. This is a great place to hold business discussions or meet with friends.

Beautiful location. A bit pricy but totally worth it. we went for cocktails and small bites. It is about the atmosphere and the sense of luxury. But everybody is welcome and the staff is very friendly

We went up one night for photos, came back a second night for drinks and desert. The "Top of the Mart" Mai Tai was great and the Pavlova was wonderful.

Visited in May for happy hour and Tapas, it is a race to get in the elevators when they open at 5.00pm, worth the crush, the views are spectacular and we spent a very relaxing few hours, taking in the views, sampling their wines and tapas menu. Our server was the best, cant remember his name he was serving in... More

Last night in San Francisco so came up with my wife for dinner (we were staying in the hotel). Had to wait 10minutes as it was full - we asked a few days before but they don't take reservations. Seated with a fantastic view by the window but very dark so had to use the candle on our table to... More

Brought our British friends here for a drink so they could enjoy the view. What a great place. Yes, the drinks are pricey but worth it for the amazing few. It's a must see if coming to SF.

A view worth waiting for. Be prepared to wait for a table as it is busy, but wait is not to long as turn over is quick, and they have a good system in place to keep track when it is your turn. Drinks are expensive but very good and the view is wonderful. Sunset is a great time to... More

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
