The clam chowder was so yummy. The place was packed but we were able to secure our table. The price is just right for the quantity of the food.

My husband and i spent $30 for an inedible breakfast. Toast too cold to melt the butter, egg tasted like an egg substitute or were watered down and potatoes were cold. We were the first people in line and waited for our breakfast to be...cooked??? Now to top this off when we finished breakfast and asked where the restroom was we were shown the back door that led to a parking lot with a filthy public restroom across the parking lot. The door had no way for us to get back in the restaurant. This was our second visit today San Francisco and our last. Don’t waste your travel budget on this place.More

The bakery itself is worth a visit but the restaurant is really good. Food quality was excellent and our server was outstanding. Very good value and could have been easily persuaded to let lunch roll into dinner had we not other things we had to...do. Great choice of wines. We had the classic Boudins Chowder in sour dough bread. OMG. An amazing carb fest :) plus the chowder. Loved it. Highly recommended and easy to find NOT using google maps. Head for the waterfront and you will see it very easily. We did not have a reservation for lunch but we can imagine that for dinner a reservation is essential An interesting observation. Boudins was busy. We could see a lot of other places around that were open that were very quiet by comparison. That tells its own story :) Thanks to the team for being very helpful much appreciated from 2 Brits abroad.More

I didn't expect much from the restaurant because it's in the heart of a tourist attraction - pier 39. So I wasn;t that disappointed when my sandwich wasn;t that good and pretty expensive. When visiting pier 39 bring your own food.

Shared the Chicken Salad Sandwich with husband, and it was remarkably fresh and exceeded our expectations. Love that sourdough bread!

We loved our trip to SFO and enjoyed a quick lunch at Boudins. All the food was fresh and tasty. I’d recommend going during non lunch hours. Enjoy!!

We both had a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. It was quite large and very good. Highly recommend for breakfast. Of course, the sour dough bread is the best.

My husband and I were there on 9/12/19 for Happy Hour and were completely ignored. We sat near the bar and noticed no waiters were passing in that area. We moved about 10 mins later. Another couple sat down a few tables down and were...attended within a few minutes. We were there a total of 30 minutes and were never acknowledged. Maybe it's a racially motivated? Too bad, this was a place I was looking forward to trying.More
