Decent service, friendly, nothing to rave about. Food was better than average and reasonably priced. Ambiance is perfect to get the feel of the town. Try some of the local goodies and root beer.

The last day of December 2015 was rainy and cold at the historic town of Harper's Ferry; the Shenandoah River looked engorged and distended by the rains, the trails of the Harper's Ferry National Park were too slippery for our inappropriate shoes, and the small but cute train station held a few visitors in the mist. The train station was... More

We were in town on Saturday. Almost everywhere was closed at noon. The inn fed us great home cooked chili. Multiple people were here due to everywhere being closed. They accepted everyone on a short notice an made sure all the customers were fed. Great service!!!!

Small and cozy dining room and a menu with a large and diverse assortment of dishes. All of the dishes we tried were excellent.

Mid-afternoon break from sightseeing, we stopped in for a snack. Coffee was really good! 8 different kinds of desserts. All homemade. Service was very welcoming.

As an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker this spring, I stopped in for lunch and was treated very well. Homemade everything was worth the stop, then to find out another costumer paid for my meal.

We enjoyed eating outside in the court yard. So the actual table area beats the food and service. Service was very, very slow! Food was delicious. My quesidilla was described as being huge, but was not enough for a meal.

We had a great experience at The Town's Inn last month. The Crabby Crab Cake Sandwich is to die for, and the fresh hand-cut french fries are even better. Loved the people, too. Very friendly and attentive. The Town's Inn is a must try!

We had dinner and my expectations weren't high because of previous experiences we've had in small towns with touristy restaurants. They know you have to eat, nothing else is convenient so lets be status quo. Wow - the chicken & rice soup was better than mine; fresh & tasty. The pork barbeque sandwich had a very nice sauce but not... More

This was probably our most enjoyable meal while in HF for the weekend. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by our young waiter who was very friendly and placed us at a table in their rock garden. The food was probably the best we had here. Nothing fancy but all homemade. The pork bbq was the most tender... More
