Came here for lunch. Ordered the spaghetti with marinara and the ham and cheese sandwich. Both were very delicious. The menu was a bit pricy but the food and service was good.

We ended up at Pasta Jays because the wait everywhere else was so long and we were ready to eat. We go to in almost immediately and sat in their outside dining. To make it work for winter, they had large overhead heaters going with the outside enclosed. At first the heaters felt great, but by the end of our... More

Four bubbles only because this place is very casual. The food was tasty and welcomed after a winters day of national park exploration. The service was quick and very pleasant. Nice offering of descent Utah wine. Rich and hearty fare, great for carb loading for tomorrow's adventure!

After a fun, but exhausting day of hiking Arches National Park, it was great to relax and enjoy some great Italian food. I decided on the Green Chile Ravioli which was delicious! My wife had the Lasagna, which was equally tasty. The service was very good, so we even went back the following evening to try the pizza. We'd definitely... More

The smell of the food drew us in, and we were thrilled with the result. The pasta, cheese bread, and chicken parmigiana were all great! We would definitely visit again!

It was ok, the dishes are very large (could feed two not so hungry adults) but they were not memorable. It does provide a variety of options for everyone in your group.

The only advantage to this place is its location. The pasta with marina sauce that I ordered was under cooked and dry (not enough sauce)/

They had amazing pasta! A bit pricey (we paid $42 for 2 main dishes and we drank water) but if you are prepared for that then you'll enjoy it.

Stopped in after a day of hiking in Arches. The food was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter is vegan and the waitress and cook staff were very accommodating to her dietary preferences. The vegetable cannelloni was outstanding. The portions were very large and satisfying for a hungry hiker. I'd like to go back next... More

Description
In June of 1980, when Jay Elowsky was 20 years old, he moved from Bay City, Michigan and started washing dishes for his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Sonny, who owned "Sonny's Pizza" in San Clemente, California. After a year stint at CU in Boulder, he decided the pasta business was where his heart was. So he returned to Sonny's to cook for six more years in order to learn the family recipes that had been passed down to him by his mother, "MaMa Genovese", whose grandmother was the cook for the first King of the United Countries of Italy, Victor Emanuel the Second. In September of 1988, his Mom (Jean) and Dad (Lowell) and Jay opened up Pasta Jay's in Boulder at 9th and Pearl. Now almost three decades later - besides the Boulder eatery there are Pasta Jay's locations in Lone Tree, Moab, and Hays, KS. The Moab location opened in 1992. Generations later we continue to use family recipes to create "food fit for a king"!
