Stopped on way back from Durango, Co. Enjoyed excellent sundaes, friendly service & shady patio! Homemade peach and hot fudge sundaes were very good. Son had a large root beer float that he said was very good. I would recommend stopping if in the area!

Buyer beware - this was cash only when we went. We did not know that and were going to leave as it was late at night, just before closing. The owners said to order what we wanted and bring money back later, even the next day! We did order and then returned shortly after as loyal customers. That type of... More

After enjoying a good meal in a local restaurant, we stopped at Vanilla Moose for dessert. The ice-cream was old-fashioned delicious.

I had been going to the Vanilla Moose for a few years and it was fine, generic pre made soft serve, but it was fine and the people polite Then a new person was behind the counter, a young blonde woman When I drove up she was talking to a man at the counter, the only other person there but... More

I have lived in Aztec since 2011 and "the Moose" has always had consistently a good selection of great ice cream at reasonable prices in a wholesome, family atmosphere.

This place made driving into Durango to save money all worth the trip. EXCELLENT shakes. Wish we had one at home.

This place has the most imaginative and yummy ice cream sundae combinations I have seen anywhere ... and the shakes! Come autumn Pam will most likely have both apple pie shakes and pumpkin pie shakes -- made with real pie! If you just need a quick pick-me-up at the end of the afternoon, go for the soft-serve cones, with or... More

I had the Small Hawaiian Sundae and was mrs like a Banana Split. It had a banana on the bottom, then soft ice cream (I had Chocolate) On top of the ice cream was pineapple then shredded coconut and then whipped cream and nuts and a cherry. It was huge for a small. I didn't think I would ever finish... More

This is an adorable and affordable ice cream stop. Decor is cute with bright yellow picnic tables and a tree decorated with toys and other eclectic items. Ice cream is good. It is soft serve with lots of sundae combinations, ice cream sodas, and dipped cones. We ordered two half-size sundaes, a small dipped cone, and a small ice cream... More

Well, we like ice cream, OK? And we were too late getting into town for a real lunch and we'd heard about this place. Not until we'd ordered and started pigging out did we discover that it's in the New Mexico top ten ice cream locations. I think I know why. First, the service is friendly, efficient, and friendly, and... More
