Cinnamon buns from the past! Latte from the present. The pastries are excellent; the coffee is fine but not remarkable. Small place with limited seating. More of a bakery (the cakes look inviting) than a coffee shop.

I cannot say enough about Raos. The sweet treats are the best from the beautiful cakes, the amazing muffins, dreamy cupcakes. There is something for everyone here. You may choose to buy a whole cake, a mini cake or just a slice. Everyone should try them all!!!!#sweet#goodness

Very nice location with flavorful treats but, if you want doughnuts.....you better get there early as they only make a "set" number and don't take pre-orders so if a business buys 6 dozen, you just might be out of luck....

The coffee was decent (quite probably the best in Beaumont), and there was a nice range of pastries. Lunch items were a bit more limited, but for a simple bite, this was more than sufficient. We appreciated that it was a family run place since the 1940s with an independent and local vibe that made it a far cry from... More

We had a coffee break here and loved the great service and delicious food. The gumbo is unusually good, the king cake delicious, the coffee was great, and the service was amazing! Thanks to everyone at Rao's bakery.

They have such a variety of different delicacies and the cheesecake is to die for. They have every type of dessert or lunch type food that you can think of and everything is just so delicious and the staff is so wonderful.

Rao's is a staple in Beaumont! They always have great coffee, and the atmosphere is always inviting. If you're looking for a trendy coffee joint with a hint of irony, this is not your scene...it's more of a bakery feel. Sadly...they try to do too much when it comes to the bakery. As a result, most of the baked goods... More

Best experience ever for hosting a shower, staff attentive and food wonderful. Sandwich trays, Gelato punch, and cupcakes! Easy setup and easy acess for our guests. Highly recommend private room. Out of town guests were also impressed with selections in bakey cases.
