We have been coming to this restaurant for over 35 yrs. Food is still good. I think they make the best Sweet & Sour Soup. I've tried it at several Chinese restaurants and there's is still the best. You get large amount of food. Usually...have to have a to go container. I am sad the owner's are getting older. But they still have good food. And wait staff are always friendly.More

totally disappointed they were closed for awhile reportedly due to age of owners. we ordered cashew chicken and gen tsao chicken. the chicken bits in the cashew chicken were few and far between. an ample supply of celery and nuts though. the gen tsao chicken...tasted like refried and dried out chicken. never go back.More

The Service was good. The Sesame chicken was good. Eggrolls okay. The Beef Lo main was Gross and the worst my wife has ever had. The Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup were not very good either. If you know what true Chinese food taste...like you will not be happy with this choice.More

Maybe the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I don't like to leave bad reviews but damn. Still trying to figure out what was in those crab cheese Rangoon but it wasn't cream cheese. If you know what decent Chinese food is just keep driving......I beg you!More

We were traveling through Gunnison and talking about non-chain restaurants. We saw the House of China and went in. The meals came with soup, egg roll, and crab rangoon. The main course was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The price was reasonable!

This is the best hot and sour soup I've ever had. Great price on lunch and includes soup and tea. Hard to find for $7

We were heading home from vacation and were very hungry. We were pulling a travel trailer and looking for a place with adequate parking when we noticed a large curbside space so we parked. We realized we were next to a Chinese restaurant. It was...very busy. It is a mom and pop operation so service was slow but friendly and efficient. I ordered shrimp with broccoli and my partner got pork hunan. I was surprised to get about 8 large shrimp and lots of fresh broccoli, very delicious. This came with a choice of soup and egg roll and crab Rangoon. Place is dated and plain but a great value.More

We were the only customers in this place when we arrived for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The waitress was friendly and swiftly brought us water and complimentary tea. The food was obviously cooked to order which is quite unusual nowadays for a Chinese restaurant....Sesame chicken was extremely tasty as was the Mongolian beef however the lo mein lacked flavour. It's always hit and miss with a Chinese restaurant you don't know, we were just passing through the town, but fortunately this place was definitely a hit and great value for money!More

The lunch menu is fabulous and has different options dependent on the budget. Tea is great and food flavors right on!
