We went for dinner and the food and service were very good. The small plates were excellent so we skipped having a main coarse.

Duck Leg Adobo was absolutely divine! We sat at the bar, & love the ambiance there. Always a good time & great good.

It's the best when you walk into a place and you're not expecting anything and - BOOM💥 It blows You Away. That was the experience we had. Delicious. Everything.

We checked TripAdvisor for highly rated restaurants and selected The Admiral. With the feel of a speakeasy, it is a small, intimate cinder block building that - from first outside appearance - could be a biker bar! Make reservations! Once seated we ordered a dark...More

An Asheville resident tipped us off about this place, and we are very glad she did. Start with the baguette and lavender butter - delicious. We shared two hor d'oeuvres, cod empanada and chorizo verde. The first was okay and the second very good. We...More

The Admiral is simply terrific! Huge pork chops, great steaks, and the best steak tartare I've ever had ... including France! Reservations are a must! And it's in West Asheville, so you can stroll the streets when you're done.

This looks like an old biker bar, but the food is creative and pricey. Portions are small. Heavy on the meat, not many good options for vegetarians. Crowded and noisy, but no TV screens for a change.
