I am not quite understanding all of the reviews that I have seen here. After wandering around downtown with my partner, and after having had a great dinner at zambra, we decided to get something sweet for dessert. Having read the reviews online, I couldn't...More

I had the "French Crème" pastry, reminiscent of the lovely "Crème Schnitte" I had in Lake Bled, Croatia many years ago. It was transcendent! My friend had the tiramisu, and she loved her dessert as much as I did mine. The selection was lovely, and...More

That...was perfection in a cup. I stood at the counter and enjoyed every sip before returning to the night chill. I was reminded of nights long ago walking home from Cafe Greco in North Beach. Respect.

Quaint little shop that could be smack dab in the middle of Europe! They do serve a passable quiche but their real strength is pastries. The French Creamy and Lemon Bars topped with berries were both very good. Too bad that the espresso used for...More

The hot chocolate was the best I have ever had made with almond milk. The pastries were yummy but super rich, which made me stop eating after half the portion... but my daughter happily took over. However, I found it a bit pricy; paid over...More

Great coffee, pastries and quiche. I don't even like quiche but had a bite of my friends and it was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small place but they make great use of their space.

I am an Asheville local and can always count on Old Europe for an excellent espresso, either as an afternoon pick me up or post dinner.

My favorite place for a delicious treat and an excellent espresso. Their dessert choices are always so interesting; it's difficult to choose. The lemon bars are just perfect (one of my favorites). Also appreciate their gluten-free/vegan options, which have also been excellent. The staff is...More
