Great spot to grab a drink and see the city and mountain view. Old-school elevator is very cool. Old historic building. Bar is mounted to the side of the building. Still and functioning office building by day. No Kids Allowed.

Took the old elevator with an attendant working the doors up to a little room about 6 floors up in downtown Asheville to see the sunset, which was very dramatic! You have a one drink minimum to stand out there with about 15 others, not...More

Enjoy a delightful cocktail atop the coolest building in the city. Located at the top of the Flat Iron building, you can watch the sun set over the mountains as well as view the rest of downtown. Great servers/bartenders.

We were looking for somewhere with a view, close to our hotel in downtown Asheville, for drinks. Skybar was recommended by our hotel. We enjoyed the view and the drinks. Staff was polite and timely.

Perfect for savory cocktails while watching the sun go down. If we don't go with friends we often make them while we're there.

Sure the view here is nice, if you can find a place to enjoy it. Granted we were there on a Friday night, but they over packed the place. The top balcony is standing room only and the next 2 levels down were all tables...More

Your right that Friday and Saturday night are hopping and can get crowded at sunset on memorial day weekend (this weekend) and after multiple days of rain sometimes People seem to have a pent up need to get out and enjoy the unbelievable view up...More

Description
SkyBar: Asheville's Rooftop Bar and Skyline View. Discover Asheville: A Rare and Beautiful Place! rooftop bar Our skyline view Have you been to Asheville? Be sure that you make plans to visit us. Once here, you'll find yourself totally amazed at how wonderful this place is, with the mountains, beautiful downtown, and our unmistakable mountain vibe. Over the past few years, Asheville has become very well known for our culinary cool, our burgeoning beer scene and our thriving artistic community. On top of that, we have hundreds of miles of panoramic vistas, parkway drives, waterfalls waiting to be discovered, and an amazing downtown scene. Visit us and you'll see why all the locals think that Asheville is an unforgettable escape from the daily grind. During the summer, discover toe-tapping adventures along the new Blue Ridge Music Trail. Get yourself outside, explore our backyard, find outdoor adventures that will have you zipping across mountaintops or riding over river rapids. And, there's always the Blue Ridge Parkway! We all love to take leisurely drives along the Parkway to grab as much breathtaking beauty of mountains, vistas, waterfalls, rock-faces, and wonderful mountain air. Unique bar that was actually a fire escape of a very old building in Asheville. An elevator man takes you up to the 8th floor and you can choose to stay on the level or go down to 7th or 6th floors. A great view for a sunset. Busiest on Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
