This place has amazing food and a cool atmosphere featuring the art of local artists. Try the cornbread - it's different and better than most cornbread. Grilled Peaches were great as was the summer salad and the steak skewers were unbelievably good. The location is off the beaten path but a short drive from everywhere and worth the trip.

Just had dinner at The Junction. This is a small but truly exceptional restaurant located in the River Arts District. Many reviews reference the corn bread appetizer and it is something not to missed. The server noted that its made in chef's grandmother's large cast iron pan. Well - it is just great. I had the "two peas and cod"... More

This restaurant has always been one of my favorites. I have never been disappointed with the food. They always have a delicious twist on southern fare. Be prepared to be adventurous. The staff and owners are always very friendly.

Brunch here was fine, but not spectacular. I had french toast, and everyone at the table agreed that the peanuts on top were an odd and not completely appealing choice.

We were looking for a quirky & hip restaurant in Asheville & the Junction certainly hit the spot. We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, excellent casual menu & wonderful welcoming staff. We enjoyed the cornbread & meat + cheeseboard for starters. My son really enjoyed his ribs. I can't recall the other items eaten but they were all scrummy.... More

Had a wonderful dinner with lots of interesting flavors. The steak kabob starter was phenomenal, as was the cornbread (sinful) and meat and cheese plate. Service was excellent and the owner was very welcoming. Worth a visit while you're in Asheville.

I have been here twice with my family. It is a small, unpretentious restaurant in the River Arts District. Half of the space consists of the bar area and the dining area is separated by a half wall. The kitchen is exposed to the dining area and that is where the chef looks out for your reaction to his creations.... More

I chose the Junction for a recent birthday dinner because I was so impressed the first time I went when visiting Asheville last fall. Everything was delicious and as creatively prepared as before, which made for a great meal. Justin's famous cornbread with poblano butter and agave nectar is a "must try" in my opinion, and the grilled South Carolina... More

Wow! What amazing and interesting food. There were 7 of us in our party and everyone was beyond thrilled with their food. Our favorites were the meat and cheese board and the corn bread for starters. The fish (two peas and a cod) and the fried chicken were the dinner favorites. You won't go wrong here!

The RAD is a great place to visit artist studios and eat good food. The Junction is a sweet place to grab a meal or great cocktail. You can park on or off street and wander into galleries and working studios and buy a gift for a local artist. Then head to The Junction for a chief's delight.

Our menu features a combination of soups, salads and sharing plates as well as hearty entree options so that every dining experience is unique.
