Just had a bagel and coffee, but the bagel was one of the best I have had in Asheville. Almost as good as a NY bagel.

My friend & I stopped here for a quick afternoon snack. You can't have a quick snack here because it takes too long to look at all the choices in the cooler! Several pieces contained fresh fruit; several were covered with meringue (some with toasted coconut; some with layers of mascarpone cream, chocolate, fruit cream; and there was much more!... More

While we miss the days of 3-4 scone varieties options such as English muffins and different bialys make up for the loss. Coffee is what currently keeps this review from being a 5. There is less variety on the flavored coffee than in the past. Also we have had several recent instances of running low on coffee in the self... More

If you're looking for a good bakery in Asheville, then this needs to be one of your stops. The cinnamon buns alone...So Good. They're huge! Their muffins are good as well. The coffee is always fresh and hot. I've not tried their sandwiches yet, but that's next on the list.

This is a MUST VISIT cafe, we couldn't say enough about how wonderful and delicious everything we tried was (& we loaded up on assorted pastries to take with us to our cabin in Gatlinburg to enjoy later) and the staff was incredibly friendly and suggested places to see while visiting, also the hot cappuccino's on such a chilly day... Sometimes the line is long, and parking is tough. Getting out of here really sucks, but...... the food is so totally worth it, worth every little bit of it. I highly recommend this no matter the time of year the soups made daily and always fantastic and the southern sandwich is phenomenal!
