Our first visit to Chestnut. Hostess seemed a little cool upon arrival but our waiter made up for this rough start. Food was delicious and presented very nicely.

Group business meal. Variety of apps, medium plates and entree plates came to the table all well presented. All plates were clean when we finished so I think all diners were content.

The location, atmosphere, service, food, and drinks were exceptional. Awesome destination for a couples night out or friends looking for an upscale meal without paying a heavy penny. Definitely heading back next time I’m in town.

Came here from recommendation. Food was delicious but the service stood out above anything. Their attitude of saying yes to their customers is a win win approach. Will definitely return here in the future and recommend to anyone passing through.

A place that I regularly meet for lunch with friends and also business clients. Great atmosphere and amazing local food. TIP - park across the street in the city parking deck at aLoft Hotel.

The food was innovative, and fantastic. We really enjoyed the option of small plates for a fair price. The desserts were outstanding and it was difficult to choose one. Top notch pastry chef! The soufleé was worth the wait. Wonderful parings of sauce and main...More

Chestnut is an American restaurant. We are in a 1920s era building in downtown Asheville, right across for the Aloft hotel and the double decker coffee bus. Parking is plentiful (and cheap) at the public deck under the Aloft Hotel.
