Only visited the location in Virginia Beach. I've eaten here a few times, as have my friends. The food is delicious, but the service is always slow. Some servers go out of their way with their tables, but other don't even bother asking if you want to hear the specials.

If you don't make reservations be prepared to wait...I was going to make reservations but they weren't taking online reservations that day. So we put our name down on the list..wait time 2HOURS !?! After reluctantly waiting 1 HOUR and 15 minutes we finally got in..it is small inside..I waited that long because last time we were there the food... More

The food was fine - there are a lot of other restaurants in the area that I would try before going back here for dinner.

First time here. Food was very good. Poached eggs over a biscuit with ham. Also, offer a sweet potato pancake that sounds really good. Bring a coat as there is no inside waiting area.

This place is unbelievable. Just so good. And somehow breakfast for 5 people was under a hundred bucks. How is that possible? Lord knows I had a jumbo sized mimosa along with my hearty breakfast so it wasn't me that was keeping the bill low. My mom had the Shoo Mercy Pancake (after my encouragement) and it was simply epic.... More

My husband and I really enjoyed eating at Tupelo Honey. The food was delicious, the restaurant is charming, and the service was great. I loved the pulled pork with the smokey jalapeno bbq sauce. We will return to Tupelo Honey when we return to Asheville.

My husband wanted local Southern Cuisine and after reading the menu we both thought the descriptions were just what we wanted. We each had one of their specialty cocktails, Pumpkin Spiced Kentucky Mule and a Violet Beauregard interestingly different. A order of fried green tomatoes, the shrimp & grits with spicy red pepper & goat cheese, also their fried chicken... More

Tupelo Honey Cafe is a wonderful breakfast restaurant that is fun for the entire family. The Tupelo honey is amazing and all of the choices are superb. We have really enjoyed coming here over several fall seasons and looking forward to trying the new location in Sandy Springs in Atlanta, GA !

Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
