Lots on offer with both daily specials and an everyday menu. Well executed and creative tapas with an interesting wine list. My wife and I had a great time and we think you will too. Have fun.

Yuck! Don't eat here. Just there last night with 2 other people. We ordered 8 small plates and the only one that was good was the watermelon gazpacho. Patatas bravas were under cooked, slightly warm and seasoned with sriracha maybe? Gnocchis in the special were...More

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. Lots of small plate options, perfect for sharing. Don't miss the pork belly, the scallops, and the shrimp. Services was excellent. Our server was quite knowledgeable about the dishes and available wines. The decor has a Moroccan flavor. Would...More

Exceeded our most optimistic expectations. Excellent food is an understatement, the service was very good, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We live two hours away and have already began planning a day trip to include another visit to Zambra; its worth the drive. For...More

Originally had reservations at another restaurant and when called to add two people, they could not accommodate us - found Zambra on Trip Advisor. We ALL loved this place......so fun to do small plates - we all ordered different choices and everyone was happy! Mussels...More

My wife and I stopped in for dinner while staying a few nights in Asheville, and it turned out to be the highlight of our stay. We took a seat at the bar as we'd planned to have a few tapas and wine. The bartender...More

Wide variety of tapas and a good selection of wines to go with them. There was a large menu of specials when we went. The 'tapas' salads were rather large, particularly to share with two.

It is always good. Some items on the menu have been there for a long time and I for one, hope they will stay! Great new and fresh farm to table locally sourced items constantly changing the menu. It is never boring. Many of our...More

We did not have a reservation but were soon seated at a table in the bar. The restaurant has a romantic feel to it--sort of a Moroccan theme, but not overdone. I ordered a bluehour cocktail, and my date chose a Spanish cab recommended by...More

Zambra has such flavorful variety and a beautiful atmosphere. We were out on the porch area on a beautiful evening, definitely the spot for a romantic dinner option! Everything from vegetable dishes to meat dishes to desserts was amazing. Try the bread pudding, the tuna,...More

Yes if it's not too crowded. In other words not on Fri or Sat when it's totally full

If you look on their permanent menu (on the website), some of the dishes show two prices. The second price is for the item as an entree. We were told the entrees were quite large and are sometimes split.

Our dynamic menu is the passion of Executive Chef Adam. Adam has attained many influences through his training in Europe and New Orleans. Zambra is his modern vision of the tastes and flavors of the western Mediterranean: Spain, Portugal, Gypsy, and North Africa. As an appropriate accompaniment, we have assembled the region's finest selection of Spanish and New World wines. We have been awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and our wine list has been voted the best in Asheville.
