On our very first night in Asheville, NC we stopped in for eats and drinks at the bar. This is a must! The bar is so cool and this place has a cave like romantic feel. The food comes in tapa size and regular size it is very good. Great drinks too. Will return when we visit Asheville again.

Stopped here with friends for a bite and drinks. I simply adored the decor and ambiance. Like, so stinking romantic!!!!! We asked to have a table in the alleyway. How fun! It really does have a sexy and romantic feel to it. Food and drinks were exceptional, albeit a wee bit expensive for what you get. My friend and I... More

The atmosphere is so romantic. The food will absolutely impress you to no end. My husband and I simply cannot get enough of this restaurant. Each time we plan a trip to Asheville, Zambra is, without question, the one place we know we will be going during our time in Asheville. Check it out!

We ate here early on a Friday night on New Year’s Weekend upon recommendation from a friend. Our 5:45 p.m. reserved table was ready, and in no time this restaurant was full and bustling with energy. Our server was knowledgeable and quite proficient. The tapas menu worked well for us by allowing us to sample a variety of offerings. Everything... More

I apologize for the shortcomings you experienced on your visit. The mussels are always a roll of the dice, usually the supply is of good quality. You just never know until they pop open. Please forgive our delay on both your cocktails and the upkeep of the restrooms. That was our busiest weekend of the year. We do usually stay... More

This is our third time eating here for New Years. Although this place is packed, you would not know when it comes to quality of food and swiftness of the service. They have a wide variety of food to select from. It is Tapas which you order small plates to share. We selected the Gnocchi, Lobster tail, Venison chop, assorted... More

Sat at the first of two bar areas. Super cocktails and Spanish wines. I liked the cellar like, stonewalled atmosphere Knowledgeable bartender who answered all our questions about food and wine. Each round of tapas was remarkable and a great shared experience for the three of us. Something for everyone.

Let's get this out of the way first. Asheville is known nationally for the great tapas bar Curate, As a result, it may be easy to overlook the amazing tapas at Zambra. Zambra is a "not to miss" restaurant embodying high end culinary creativity and ultra-fresh ingredients that places Asheville as a foodie destination. The surrounds are in a romantic... More

We always go to Zambra when we visit Asheville. Great variety of different types of gourmet tappas and full meals as well. Cool selection of cocktails and beers as well. I definitely recommend making reservations.

From the house-made gnocchi mushrooms to scallops to pork belly to potatas to seasonal salad to vindaloo curry chicken chimichangas to sensational crispy brussel sprouts, everything was delicious! Ordered in stages as the the tapas arrived quickly (except for the seasonal salad which took 40 minutes - strange) A large wine selection makes choosing fun and affordable.
