Food was tasty, fresh and the service was excellent. The only downside is the restaurant is fairly cramped and you feel squished in.

I'm an AVL local and have been going here on occasion for years. I can always count on the food being fantastic and the service being good. Not surprising that the Obamas chose to stop & eat here. Be sure to try the bread pudding for dessert! It can be pricey (for my budget) but such good food is worth... More

I visited the Corner Kitchen for the first time yesterday with my adult daughter for breakfast - Tues Mar 14. I ordered the Smoked Trout on Toast with crispy red bliss potatoes for $12. According to their menu the dish was to include - Woodsmoke Provisions smoked mountain trout on Annie's Bakery open-faced rye toast with young spinach, soft scrambled... More

Left Knoxville early so I could beat the crowd for breakfast. Sone of the best biscuits and gravy and the sausage ain't to shabby either!

My husband and I stopped by The Corner Kitchen at the recommendation of friends during our honeymoon - and we are glad we did! I was also impressed with their gluten-free options. Not all gluten-free breads are created equal, and the bread on my Roasted Turkey and Ashe County Cheddar sandwich (and the sandwich itself) was delicious! I loved the... More

The first time I visited this restaurant was with a group of senior citizens. I enjoyed the food, service and location so much I have been back several times! Every aspect of this establishment is top-notch. Be sure to try Bob's Chips with a glass of ginger ale! Best Gingerale I have ever had. If you have to wait for... More

5 stars for the food and service. The food was unique and super wonderful. The cheeses and appetizers down to the homemade lemonade were all phenomenal. Wishing I was going back to Asheville sometime soon so I could stop in at this place again. My main course was the flat iron and it did not disappoint.

On our way to the Biltmore Estate we stopped here for breakfast. We sat at the counter, which was fine. We had coffee & fresh squeezed o.j. Our breakfasts were eggs with biscuit and grits w/ lox, eggs, toast & crisp potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. Everything was well prepared. My sister got the biscuits and gravy and said while... My husband and made reservations for a special evening away from kids. We'd been there several years before and had fond memories, but this time, we weren't impressed. While I'm not a picky eater, the limited menu was so wildly diverse, I had a hard time choosing to spend $$$ on items I didn't really want. I decided to try... More

Thank you for coming in to see us again. I apologize that your dinner was not what you expected from us. We work hard to have menus with balanced selections so I am surprised that you were unable to find something that you liked. The trout is indeed on the menu and has been for almost 13 years. It has... More
