A lady in the Biltmore ticket center recommended this and we called in for lunch Saturday. Busy but got a table. Real friendly service and super food. Mussels were tasty and both shrimp and smoked trout were tasty and light. Excellent deserts to finish. Highly...More

Wonderful place for a working or shopping lunch. Food is excellent and Service is good. If the weather is nice eat outside. Very pleasant. Can't think of a better place for lunch in Western N.C.

My husband and I ate there for dinner. we were one of the last tables of the evening to be seated- it was after 8:00. There isn't a lot of seating inside and it's a limited menu, which is smart, because everything we saw that...More

We ate outdoors at the Fig Bistro and found the food to be great, the service excellent, and the atmosphere inviting. Accommodated vegetarian requests and a picky 8 years old's diet.

We picked this restaurant to try based on the the menu and the quiet courtyard. We were very pleased with this restaurant and each of us had a fish entree. The salmon entree that I had was the best salmon at any restaurant that I've...More

We visited good friends who spend the summer months in Asheville. We had lunch at Fig and wished we had more time to have another meal there. The food was uniformly excellent . The risotto was very tasty. My pappardelle was superb. Our friends had...More

Fig has been one of our absolute favorite places for date night many years running. It's relatively small, so it feels very warm and cozy at night. The food is consistently delicious and they almost always use local, organic ingredients in most of their menu....More

Fig doesn't get the publicity of some of the more trendy restaurants in town, but they do a great job.

Disappointing given the rave reviews. The salad was uninspiring and the flounder was overlooked: hard on the outside and dry on the inside. We had wanted the risotto, but were told it was all sold out to find that after we ordered, someone on the...More

Met some friends here for lunch. This is a small spot with indoor and outdoor seating and fantastic food. We started with pomme fries which were crisp and tasty. I had a delicious burger which was cooked just the way I requested. The wait staff...More

The menu changes often with seasonal ingredients and they have daily specials. The vegetarian plate is always delicious as are the desserts. Service is impeccable! The food is divine.

Yes, as others have said, they have a full bar. Fig used to be one of my top picks in Asheville, but our last experience there was not so good. Even our before-dinner cocktails were poor. Our waitress didn't even seem to... More

I don't believe that Fig has cheese Souffle. They do have the best Macaroni and Cheese you can find. Also, the celery salad w/ gorgonzola is fantastic. However, I understand that the Corner Kitchen at 3 Boston Way, also... More
