This is a great little eatery with exceptional fare and service. We had the duck confit salad, pork loin and salmon, all of which were excellent. for dessert, my wife had the Pots de Creme, and I had coffee and a delicious banana bread dessert, of which, I cannot remember the name. We wish we could go back tomorrow for... More

Dinner on Valentine's evening was a very pleasant experience. Not rushed due huge crowds like many places on this the second most busy night of the year for most restaurants. Pommes Frites were very nicely seasoned. Mains, Salmon, Risotto(with added shrimp) and the Bolognese were all very good. We will return.

Fig will never disappoint you, always fabulous food. I had some of the best Bolognese I have ever had in Asheville! It is one of my favorite dishes I learned to love in Italy.....and Fig gets it! All of their dishes are exceptional, treat yourself to a wonderful dinner.

Food and service were excellent. Ambiance wanting. Arrived with no reservations, which was no problem. Seating is cramped. Not sure I would go again, but once was OK.

Our party of five arrived for a late lunch and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, we were taken care of very well. The menu offered a nice selection for different palates, and everything was prepared perfectly. Pommes frites in truffle oil were great, and the Reuben and bleu cheese risotto were outstanding. We also ordered mac... More

Let's start with the good - highly recommend the fried oysters with remoulade appetizer. Quiche of the day with goat cheese and andouille sausage was outstanding. The Duck Confit salad was amazing. Happy plates all around, to quote our 3 year old niece. The service however was inconsistent. When the server was on, it was clear he was well trained.... More

Five of us had a late lunch here. Service was a tad slow, possibly because the kitchen was backed up. One of us had the shrimp Oriental soup, two had the really good dill egg salad sandwich, one had a good house salad, and one had the quiche of the day with an excellent salad to accompany it. A cute,... More

We ate at Fig for dinner and then came back for lunch. Although the restaurant is small, their offerings are varied and well thought out. The food is excellent and service is efficient as well as friendly. I'd be willing to try anything they offer, but particularly enjoyed the chowder. They also have a well selected wine list, with excellent... More
