Authentic French restaurant with fine food and a great wine selection. The duck and steak were wonderful and a good ambience. Mid range price but depends on the wine you order. Worth a visit.

Good French cuisine- tried many dishes, including the foie gras, Dover Sole, duck confit, escargot and beef bourgignon and a couple of deserts. All was good- maybe too much butter in the escargot and the confit was a little dry. The creme brulee was good...More

Attended a professional reunion of fellow hand surgeons. Easy walking distance from Hynes Convention Center. The room for our group was the perfect size. I'm a vegetarian so the entree was soso for a fancy place. The salad was outstanding: a meal almost in itself....More

When we are not in France, we are thinking about being in France! For those homesick for the old country, this is an address you should have in mind. Clearly, great effort and expense have been employed, as well as a congenial wait staff, to...More

We had dinner here. Excellent French cuisine, fresh ingredients, very tasty, ample wine list, knowledgeable servers in describing food and wine. Excellent culinary experience. Highly recommend it.

The only bad part about La Voile is the parking. We ended up parking in the Prudential Center but it was worth the walk. Hidden away, down a flight of stairs, is an excellent French bistro. The food was quintessential French bistro cuisine. The service...More

Great location for this gorgeous french restaurant. Fully booked but service was exception. Food didn’t take long to come. We did the three course set menu for $45. To die for food.

On a beautiful day we had a pleasant lunch out on the patio. We shared the quiche and the risotto. The quiche wasn't a standard and was very tasty. They served fresh bread before the meal was served which was very good. While the portions...More

We have been going to this place for many years and have been increasingly disappointed. The last time we went this week -and it will be indeed the last time-, we were squeezed on the overcrowded terrace and we ordered the $45 menu; the gazpacho...More

Great little place on Newbury, can be easily overlooked. Went there on a Saturday night and didn’t have much hope to get a table after we read all the good reviews. We were seated on the patio within 10 minutes of our arrival! Small tables...More

If they do have a special menu, it's been my experience over many years that the special meals for New Year always turn out to be disappointing in quality and usually overpriced.
