We decided on Mooo for our last dinner on our Boston trip and boy did it leave a memorable impression on us. The lobster bisque is to die for delicious. My wife wished the bowl was bigger so it would be an entree. I had the arugula salad that a lemon based dressing that added a whole new dimension of... More

Mooo is a great steakhouse right by the commons. The steaks were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend getting the Mooo Steak Sauce as it was very good. The service is what you'd expect from a very expensive restaurant and was definitely up to par. The desserts were all amazing, especially the Apple Tart. On the negative side, their is "valet"... This restaurant is very nice. We had a salad, the filets and a couple of sides. We had 2 cocktails and 2 glasses of wine. Our bill came to almost $240. The meal was delicious and the service great. It was a nice treat.

Enjoyed the Wellington (done to perfection) that came highly recommended. Great wine list, albeit on the pricey side. Friendly service. But really too dark. Felt like a dungeon (with great food though).

I have been at this place three times -- breakfast, drinks and late dinner. Each time I found it to be a wonderful experience. The food is very good. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is private and serious -- good for romance or making a business deal. It is 5 minutes from the T and the prices points... More

We visited Mooo for dessert on our anniversary and we definitely were happy with that decision! We ordered their baked-to-order chocolate chip cookies, two scoops of homemade ice cream, and a glass of milk. Everything was sooo good! The cookies were truly just baked (it took about 15 minutes for them to come out after we placed the order) and... More

We had an exceptional dinner celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary at Mooo. The food was outstanding, ambience was romantic, albeit a little noisy with a large party behind us. Our waiter Hector was attentive and gave us excellent recommendations on the menu. Don't miss out on their amazing rolls! We split the baby kale salad, which was more than enough... More

We were visiting for the weekend and meeting up with another couple for dinner. Mooo was recommended and reserved and then i read the reviews which talked a lot about the price. It is a bit like a Mortons price wise and the steaks are every bit as good. The atmosphere is a little less formal however and I thought... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
