I was alone for the evening in Boston, and simply had a craving for a simple steak meal. There were many choices within walking distance from the hotel but my concierge recommended Mooo which frankly had not been one I had considered. All I can say is thatthe meal was just whatIhad wanted. Skipped the appetizer and desert and had... More

We had dinner here on New Years Eve. The service was relaxed and attentive, quite the opposite of other NYE dining experiences. Setting was luxurious and comfortable. We had a special chefs sampling prix fixe menu with wine pairings, which was an add-on for hotel guests. The food was amazing and included beef wellington and lobster in a bourbon cream... More

The Mooo restaurant was just up the road from where we were staying. The decor of this restaurant is fabulous. The waiter brought us some bread to start. My husband then had teh prawn cocktail which was well presented. We both ordered steaks which were lovely and tender served with a butter sauce which was in a piece of bone... More

I think it is hands down one of the best restaurants in Boston. Their steak is to die for, the service is always fantastic and you are guaranteed to have a great time there no matter when you go. We always enjoy it!

Breakfast at the Mooo can be really coool if you choose wisely...and the corn beef roools! (Sorry, with a name like that, they can't object to puns!) All spelling silliness aside, I had two excellent breakfasts here, and the "prime corn beef" was the best dish of its type I've ever had. (I'll admit I don't eat corn beef for... More

Called to get a Friday night reservation and could only get either early or late, so decided to meet my friend at the bar and take our chances eating there. My friend had been there before so I let him take control of the order and I'm certainly glad I did. We asked for bread, and the buns that came... More

A friend recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We came to Boston to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff is very attentive, but not overbearing. The food was delicious and they have a very impressive wine list. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing steak house in the center of Boston. I highly recommend the porterhouse and the fillet mignon. We had the sampler of sides that was incredible. Waitstaff was attentive but not over bearing. I highly recommend moo to any steak aficionado.

Came here for dinner to celebrate a few important things and it was absolutely the perfect choice. We requested a corner table and that's what we got. The service was fantastic, friendly and eager to make sure we were enjoying every course. We started with salads (Greek and mesclun) and they were both delicious. We had the wagyu beef dumplings... Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
