We went for dinner during a weekend trip in Boston. When a restaurant is charging $20 for a GLASS of wine, i say get real.

Met a colleague for a relaxed dinner. We both travel a lot and eat at a lot of very nice restaurants. Menton had been hyped by friends. Gave it a try. Service was... brusque. Pushy, insistent, and not particularly helpful. And the food was... ehhh. Not the tasty masterpieces that we had expected. It is probably best to try to... More

I took a friend there for lunch since she works in the Seaport district and didn't have a huge amount of time available. When confirming the reservation, I clearly mentioned it was her birthday, and spelled out her name. We didn't have too much time, so skipped the starter and went right for the entree. She had branzino and I... More

My wife and I had the Italian tasting menu that was special for 12/31/16. Even though it was Italian food, they served it up in tiny portions like they would with French food. Any Italian grandmother would roll over in their grave if they heard about the famous small portions of food. The good news is that the whole experience... More

With it being Thanksgiving Weekend, we went with the smaller tasting and a nice bottle of wine. The tasting menu was great, the service was attentive and insightful, the chef was on point and very gracious to even come out an serve the supplement of truffles. The wine list exceed expectations and to find such a great bottle of Sine... More

We went to Menton for a special occasion birthday. Going to Menton is a total experience in terms of eating, quality of food, service, and ambiance. I highly recommend doing the tasting menu because it really maximizes what I mean by experience. John, who is the dining room captain, was incredibly attentive to us and all tables in the dining... We were in Boston celebrating my birthday and had reservations to dine here on a Saturday night. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and were pleasantly surprised when they offered us a glass of champaign since our reservation time wasn't met. We decided to do the chef selection for dinner with the wine pairing and it was AMAZING! We loved... More

We managed to get a table at Menton during our visit to Boston last month and was very happy with the service, the food was top notch and although not cheap it was very good quality / service. Would also recommend the wine pairing which is always a good way to discover new wines. Would definitely return if and when... More

We had dinner with four of us, one of which was celebrating a birthday. Menton printed a menu just for us, shouting our a Happy Birthday for the b-day girl, and came out with a special dessert for her as well. I think the icing on the cake was a tour of the kitchen after dessert (granted, it was late... More

Occasionally my wife and I like to go to a very nice restaurant for a long lunch (think Michelin starred restaurants in Europe). I found Menton on line, and it was excellent. Not busy on a weekday, great wine, small servings of excellent dishes. Highly recommended for a long leisurely (not cheap) lunch.

Menton, Chef Barbara Lynch's Fort Point fine dining restaurant, is the final concept to complete her Fort Point trifecta and joins neighbors Sportello and Drink. Located in FP3, the AIA award-winning luxury condominium complex, Menton radiates an understated elegance and offers several beautiful spaces to dine including the 60-seat dining room, a 12-seat Chef's Table, and the 45-seat private dining room. The restaurant, a glamorous expression of fine dining, was designed by Cheryl and Jeffrey Katz of C&J Katz and features a subtle palette of grays with touches of silver and black. The cuisine of Menton displays the talent for precision and visual artistry across two seasonal tasting menus and a la carte selections for dinner daily, and a more casual a la carte menu for lunch Monday - Friday.
