What can I say... 5 stars all around. The space is beautiful, stone walls, fireplace, intimate lighting and a great bar. And the food is fantastic. Amazing flavors in the appetizers and meals. From the lobster gnocchi, 9 day onion soup, to the lamb... superb. And the waitstaff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. Completely enjoyed... More

Top of Boston for fine dining. My wife and I celebrated a special birthday for her and the service, food and overall experience could not have been better. They helped arrange for a nice table near the fireplace and coordinated with a local florist to have flowers set on the table. From the fresh out of the oven tasty roll... More

6 of us went last Easter for brunch. The venue is gorgeous, the food is excellent and offered many unusual choices and the service was great. Returning this year for Easter again.

After waiting for over a month for my reservation I expected a much better meal than was served. This is a beautiful restaurant with good service, but the food was a big disappointment, especially after such a good NYT review. My advice is to go for drinks. They are excellent.

A decent place with good services. The food is pretty good with affordable price but a little Americanized.

As the title says, the atmosphere is trendy, more NYC than Boston. We had nice service too. That where the good part ends. I didn't like the choices on the menu and thought the prices were high for what they offered ($20 for onion soup? come on) The desserts were the most interesting things on the menu. I would not... My friends and I came here for a celebration and it was terrible. We decided to come here because I've been here once prior a few years ago. It was great then, but I can't say that now. The service was not 5 stars, more like 1 star restaurant. I have never been horribly served in a 5 star restaurant... More

Description
Co-Owners Brian Piccini, Executive Chef Christopher Coombs & General Manager/Sommelier Jason Irving are proud of their award winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant's American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave's (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
