We were hesitant to go in after seeing the size of this place and the age range of the clientele (being a family with 2 small children). But, we were looking for a good sushi place to celebrate so we decided to go in and give it a try. We were immediately seated by the waitress who was incredibly patient,... More

In my opinion, this is the best Sushi restaurant in all of Boston. Below are my reasons why. 1/ What I love about this place is that the fish is extremely fresh. 2/ I love that sometimes they give customers complimentary free samples when they are about to introduce a new dish. 3/ I like the fact that if you... If you want high quality sushi, great staff, and do not need to glitzy ornaments on your food, then I cannot recommend Fish Market any more highly. The place to visit when you want real-deal sushi.

Delicious and fresh sushi! I will come back next time to try avocado ball! Good service and location. It is a small sushi spot in Allston. Not bad.

We stopped in shortly after opening for dinner and it was a cold night. We ordered the house sake (hot) which was very good. We made a small mistake of ordering everything we wanted at one time. The order included the Spicy Seafood Seaweed Salad (absolutely delicious), edamame (which we actually wanted as an appetizer - but it was second... More

This dynamo teeny weeny sushi bar is owned by 2 nice Hong Hong boys,Kin Chan and Jackie poon. The quality of the sashimi and sushi are good match to those in Japan (I resided in Tokyo for 5 years). The perfect size of the perfect sushi rice, the just out of ocean freshness of the fish and the impeccable knife... More

Possibly the best Sushi in Boston--fresh and excellent. Prices were high in my view(25 for a plate of sushi, etc. For those in search of really good sushi, that may not be an issue. My only criticism was that they did not accept American Express. For a restaurant this expensive, this seemed a bit "cheap" to me.

I have tried almost all the great sushi restaurants in Boston and surroundings and I can easily say that Fish Market is by far the best when it comes to the sushi quality compared to its price! The fish is so fresh and always so tasty, the selection is huge and satisfies a wide array of different tastes! Their sushi... More

I have been gong to FISH MARKET for about a year now and was impressed on my first visit. The fish quality is high as is their creativity. They have specials weekly that I love. Last week they had live scallops, the week before they had fish from Hawaii. The prices are reasonable for great food, They are hard workers... More

Took my husband out here for his birthday. It's very small maybe 20 seats, but the food is so good you forget the small space at first glance at the menu. Be sure to try the avocado ball and the yellowtail truffle maki.
