not my favorite small plate place, but it worked for a quick bite for lunch. the service was okay, but the food was not particularly memorable. The fried manchego cheese was really good and worth it for a lunch stop!

We had a very good light dinner here. I am normally not a big fan of small plate restaurants as I prefer food presented. But we had a very delicious meal and had fun sampling a variety of dishes. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was very good.

We were lucky to find this place - great food & service in a convenient location in Back Bay. We shared a few plates & all were delicious. The ceviche, chorizo, & shrimp taco were all top notch. Hil our server was very kind & friendly. I even received a complimentary glass of wine even though it was totally my... More

I booked a last minute reservation through OpenTable. All the open slots should've been more than enough indication as to what was to come. Let me summarize our experience: When we arrived, we asked our server what her favorite thing on the menu is. Unable to come up with an answer off the top of her head, she looked at... More

I was shocked by how delicious this place was! I picked it just because it was freezing outside and it was close to my hotel, but it was some of he best food I have ever had. Also, I'm from Chicago, so I know good food! Not only was every dish delicious, everyone who worked there was so nice and... More

We had lunch at Tico near Copley Square in downtown Boston and were able to have a productive business discussion. The tables are far enough apart and the ambient noise level quiet enough that we were able to converse at a normal conversational level. The lunch menu had suitable items like salads, sandwiches and tacos, though the latter were a... More

A couple of colleagues and I decided to enjoy lunch at Tico's in Back Bay. The restaurant is a short distance from the office so employees frequently visit for informal/ formal gatherings. I placed an order for the Smoked Turkey Club - I requested to have the second half packed to go. A few moments after returning to work, I... More

Our party of 8 had a wonderful time at Tico's on New Year's Eve. We had gathered there from all over the place: Texas, NH, and Boston. We enjoyed tasting so many dishes and particularly enjoyed the Mac 'n cheese, ceviche, and shrimp tacos. It was a special night for one of our party...and the staff graciously hid her diamond... The "small plates" were a generous size and very tasty! Nice atmosphere, great service, delicious food. Highly recommend.

And wow... Best place I've ever just stumbled into. The shrimp and the two texture beef tacos were insaneeee. Bartenders were super friendly and the drinks were great.

Tico, Michael Schlow's award-winning venture, located at 222 Berkely St (corner of St James) is casual, fun, inviting, energized and energizing. The restaurant has a personal, somewhat eclectic, "found" feel, with lots of reclaimed wood and unusual pieces. Perfect for friends that want to share cool cocktails, plates of tasty, sometimes spicy food, while listening to great music, in a fast, uncomplicated restaurant that provides knowledgeable, quick, playful service. The restaurant has an open kitchen with 6 stools right on the counter to watch all the action. It also boasts a large bar, dining room for 100, a chef's table, and a lush outdoor courtyard that features a fireplace, dining for 50, as well as some "soft" seating near the fire if guests wish to be outside for a drink or snack.

Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
