We chose this restaurant because of the gluten free options and we were not disappointed! The whole experience was perfect! The restaurant was beautiful and wait staff great! The pasta and sauces were incredible, as was the gluten free garlic bread! This was by far the best Italian restaurant experience we've had since becoming gluten free! We live 2 hours... More

Casual, delicious italian that understand importance of gluten free when needed. We love the pizza and mussels in red sauce.

I called ahead to see if already crazy busy and the gentleman on the phone told me to come on in so 30 minutes later, I was there in the North End. Nice front and there was a gentleman standing out front with a clipboard and when I said, "Hello" he asked me if I had called. He then showed... More

Drink was a little pricey, but food was fairly priced and decently delicious. I ordered the chicken and broccoli with creme sauce. Was tasty, but could have used a little more flavor (garlic or cheese). Staff were courteous and helpful. Would go again!

Visited the New England area and made a trip to Boston's North End. Did some research on restaurants in the are and chose Benevento's. Great choice as the food was excellent and so was the service. There was literally an Italian restaurant on every block so making a decision was difficult. We hit the jackpot. Will visit again if I'm... More

Fantastic place. The owner is at the door, in the kitchen or wherever he needs to be to make this gem shine. Make a reservation and be prepared to wait. The food is awesome and the portion sizes are large. We tried the lasagna and penne al a vodka both winners !

This was our third time eating at this restaurant. We haven't had a bad meal yet. On our last visits, they gave us complimentary Limoncello at the end of our meal. They didn't offer it this time , so not sure if that has stopped. Great Italian food. Will definitely be back next year!

The food is excellent. We have been going there for over 2 years and have never had anything but fantastic food. The last 2 visits in January we were seated downstairs at the same table with the same horrid waitress. I called and asked that a manager call me back which they did not. I also emailed them with no... More

Second trip to Benevento's this year. We were a larger group of two families (4 adults and three kids) but were seated quickly. Our waitress was excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and her recommendations were spot on. It was a cold wet day and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The food was excellent.... More
