I normally go to Mikes, but my daughter said to go to Marias. I will always go to Marias now. It's smaller but well worth it in taste!!
My wife and I stopped here on a recommendation of a local. Not like Mikes of Moderns, selection was small. I go to Bovas for my North End Desert fix. My wife had the rigita cheese cake and said it was very good.
As you walk along the Freedom Trail in Boston, you will see alot of Mike's Bakery boxes. We opted for Maria's Pastry Shop instead, and it was a WIN! The lines were not long, staff was friendly and traditional Boston pastries tasted amazing.
