Chic-looking interior. Big restaurant. Thought parking would be a challenge, but they do offer valet for $19. Server was great. Menu has plenty for everyone. Kids love the noodle and rice dishes. Sushi was very good. Portions are large, so definitely enough to share. Will...More

VERY expensive "fusion" (Thai-Chinese-Japanese) that can be had elsewhere for much less. And as for the "service" - practically non-existent. It seems that most restaurants in Boston train their staff to act bored... or blasé... or annoyed with actually having to work for a living....More

We had dinner as a large group in a private area of Red Lantern. The appetizers were creative and delicious - the crab Rangoon especially. Dining was excellent- my egg drop soup was seasoned and tasty and my beef entree was outstanding. While the music...More

I’d trek through a January blizzard for that lobster fried rice, it’s the most incredible fried rice fusion I’ve ever had! Enter through the big old doors into a cavern of loungy sex glam; busty bartenders concocting serious libations at the swanky bar, couples lounging...More

You enter the Red Lantern through impressive huge wooden doors to the sounds of techno-music thumping throughout the establishment. Great environment for a dance club, less than desirable for a nice meal out. But the music was fun, and the ambiance is funky with the...More

Went before a play and found the food unique and excellent. Asian food with some new twists. Deserts were great too. We were running late and waitress took off charges for items we didn't have time to consume.

The Red Lantern is a special place to mark an occasion. It is absolutely beautiful inside and has a very interesting menu. It is upscale Asian Fusion. The drink menu is also interesting. However it is not cheap. The food was terrific but very expensive...More

Let me start out by saying I am going to be completely honest in this post. I am so frustrated of the terrible service, tired of the unprofessional employees and the lie after lie from this place. I had a reservation for 2 tables to...More
