We went here as a family (2 adults, 2 boys age 9 and 11) on the recommendation of the concierge at the Hyatt. It is a small pub with a great vibe and atmosphere. Tables are close together so be prepared to cram in. Service was quick, friendly. Great beer selection incl local drafts. Menu is diverse yet not too... More

The fish & chips were good. The crab cakes sandwich was excellent. Didn't really need the wings, but decided to try them since they were just 25 cents each. Could have made a meal of them and been super happy.

After wandering a bit unsure where to eat for an early Sunday night dinner, we found ourselves in an alley disappointed because our target was apparently closed for the weekend. The menu looked good and the reviews looked good, so I ran up to see if it was ok to bring in my two toddlers. What a lucky accident. Very... More

My wife and I had been seeing the sites in Boston this past Saturday. It was a record breaking day of heat as we understand it and we were feeling it. It was early evening and we wanted to get something cold to drink and stopped into a Pub very close to Barracuda to cool down and to decide what... More

The meal itself was mediocre. The interesting part was being old off by the waiter because the tip included coins.

Great alley find across from hotel - super friendly staff and good food when not much else in the area stays open later

We got the clam chowder (yay!), nachos, and fish and chips. The only thing that was enjoyable was the chowder. The service was friendly and the beer selection was decent, but it's definitely a place you go to for the convenience.

We stopped in here after seeing it down the end of side street by our hotel. The staff here was the friendliest we had encountered from our day around Boston. The food was so so but the staff made up for that by far. Stop in and have a couple drinks and a few laughs with the staff

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
