This wonderful Italian deli brings back memories of my childhood 50 years ago when Italian grandparents used to drag us around Los Angeles doing their weekly marketing at authentic deli’s just like Salumeria Italiana here in Boston. A tiny store that packs it in: wonderful...More

Probably the best sopressata in Boston. All their cold cuts are great. Good service as well. Being in the North End, parking is an issue. This is no t a restaurant though, even though TripAdvisor claims it to be. It is an Italian grocery.

This isn't a restaurant - its a grocer that also makes sandwiches/subs. They sell cold cuts, olives, and cheese - the selections are amazing. They also have roasted peppers and other home made delicacies. Italian specialties imported from Italy as well as fresh bread. Have...More

We stopped at this North End gem for deli sandwiches and cheese, some chocolate for dessert. The cheese selection is fabulous and the deli meats are varied and delicious. Great bread, and gourmet delicacies for future antipasto at home. The service is attentive and patient,...More

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like
being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church

It’s more of a store to get sandwiches than a restaurant. However if you want lunch I recommend many of the restaurants around there except Bella Vista. Bricco, Dolce Vita, Panza, Villa Francesca, and Pagliuca’s are all... More
