I only go here because it is my wife's favorite restaurant in Boston, and if she is travelling with me, there is no sense suggesting a different restaurant. We ended up sitting and eating at the bar, because the wait for dinner was over 45...More

Heard a lot about Legal Sea Foods and was ready for something special. Food ended up being good, but only good, and not great, which I was expecting. Maybe I was expecting too much.

This was our mandatory for lobster pig out. We started sharing the crab cakes, mussels and calamari. Next time I'd skip the calamari. The lobster mains were cooked perfectly and the sides of beans and spinach were the winners on the night. It's pricey but...More

Nice service, good wine, ordinary food. Two dishes offered for main course, a crane cake and a "filet mignon" The crabe cake was Ok, and for what I could see from my neighbours plate and comments, the filet mignon overcooked. It's too bad that in...More

Waiter was knowledgable about celiac. They have GF bread. They have a dedicated GF frier, so we enjoyed GF french fries. The location was handy after a visit to the New England Aquarium. Loved sitting at their patio.

Got the fisherman's platter with the idea of sampling a variety of foods. It was all breaded. It was flavorless. Everything tasted the same. It tasted like bland fast food. I will give it another shot in the future to see if they have any...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

Sorry, I don't know. Better off trying Schermerhorns in Holyoke Mass 413-561-2978.
Do you still have the lobster casserole? I came to Boston 20 years ago and loved this! We are here through Thursday and would love to have this! Thanks, Karen & James.

The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods - really fresh fish.

Enjoy ocean-side dining just steps from the New England Aquarium. Our restaurant couldn't be more convenient to the Financial District, Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall and waterfront hotels.

We think a visit to Boston must include a meal at Legal Sea Foods.

Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there's no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker.

We've received a boatload of accolades including "Most Popular Boston Restaurant" (Zagat, 2011/2012), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Improper Bostonian, 2010), "Best Chowder" (Boston Magazine, 2010), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Boston Phoenix, 2009) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
