We decided to try this restaurant for a late dinner. Great food and very good service. We sat outside to admire the ocean view. We soon began hearing live music nearby. My Canadian friend cocks his head (like the RCA dog) and says "wow that...More

Dined at one close to aquarium. Clam chowder excellent. Fried shrimp ordinary. Portion size on the large end of the scale. Service very good. Not rushed.

Been here a few times, foods not bad and the service is not bad either. Great seafood selection but not worth it with so many other great seafood places to eat instead. Try it once, maybe twice but that's it.

Good view of the busy harbour in covered patio seating. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend: clam chowder, seafood platter with oysters, scallops and shrimp which were all done to perfection and very fresh.

The food is delicious at Legal Sea Foods. This particular location is right on the water and has a nice view of the harbor on the wharf side. It's next to a concert venue and we could hear a band practicing for that night's performance...More

I have always loved Legal Seafood, but was re-exposed to it on my recent stay in Boston. Within steps of my hotel, I could find no reason to go anywhere else to dine. The oysters were great and the staff was friendly and attentive.

I came here with my fiancé and two Japanese friends during a holiday, and the waitress looking after our table was brilliant. She recommended plenty of options for both food and beverages. She also gave us alternatives to consider, if we weren't a fan of...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with

statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the

if memory serves they have a small patio out front but you would need to see the hostess first to make sure they have someone working the outside tables. weather permitting of course.

The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods - really fresh fish. Enjoy ocean-side dining just steps from the New England Aquarium. Our restaurant couldn't be more convenient to the Financial District, Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall and waterfront hotels. We think a visit to Boston must include a meal at Legal Sea Foods. Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there's no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker. We've received a boatload of accolades including "Most Popular Boston Restaurant" (Zagat, 2011/2012), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Improper Bostonian, 2010), "Best Chowder" (Boston Magazine, 2010), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Boston Phoenix, 2009) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
