Maybe it's not quite the place it used to be, but after 191 years, who cares? Within a few minutes walk of TD Garden (formerly Boston Garden), this is a spot everyone has to visit at least once. Go for lunch, mingle with the usual...More

Being the oldest restaurant in the states we felt compelled to check it out and try a bowl of their award winning "chowda". Also ordered some raw seafood and cooked mussels which were all just average. The only real standout was the cornbread served at...More

I was here for lunch last weekend while I was in town. I have the chowder which was good and went with a salad as an entrée. The crabcakes were OK, and the salad was your standard Caesar salad. I would visit again for the...More

Neat place! 190+ years at same location with the same bar! We had the steamers, muscles and chowder. All fresh and excellent. Dan provided exceptional service as well.

I have not been to Union Oyster House for years. Considered it too touristy for me (a native), but took friends there. Was much better than anticipated. Had a great fish sandwich for lunch, as did one of the other people I was with. Very...More

Great clam chowder, and crab cakes at a reasonable price. Some construction going on outside but you can get through without issue. My understanding is the Kennedys liked table 19. Lots of history inside and out. Worth a stop for lunch or dinner.

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have
